Dr. A’isha L Abdul Rahman, MLIS. PhD.
Archivist, Genealogist, Transpersonal Psychologist
My name is Dr. A’isha La’Don Abdul Rahman, an experienced archivist with over 20 years of genealogy research, transpersonal psychology, and instructional design.
I specialize in genealogical research of the Antebellum Era in the DMV area and New Orleans, as well as the preservation of African American and West African arts, culture, and heritage.
I work with organizations, institutions, and individuals who are seeking innovative approaches to either exploring or facilitating the exploration and preservation of black heritage, arts, and culture.
What sets me apart from most is not only my personal experience with such research, but also an approach that is centered on the use of today’s latest technologies such as VR, AR, and AI.
